The major contributors to blindness are mostly treatable if identified on time. One of the main reasons for delay in treatment is the unavailability of trained manpower. Even though India has a huge human resource base, there is a lack of adequately trained, organized professionals in the medical and paramedical fields.

Along with being a Centre for Excellence for eye care, Anand Eye Institute is also a training centre of human resources for all levels of ophthalmic professionals. We, at Anand Eye Institute, are committed to teaching and training future Ophthalmologists. We fill the gaps by training future Ophthalmologists as a step in preventing blindness

We believe that traditional teaching in conjunction with field experience will provide invaluable tools to the Ophthalmologists of tomorrow.

In collaboration with the University of Tulane, we are dedicated to training people at all levels of eye health care.
